Copy invisible characters and blank text that paste anywhere — blank usernames, empty messages, bios and captions. Free, instant, private.
Step 1 — Copy a blank character
Tap a tile or its Copy button. The character itself is invisible, so each tile shows its codepoint instead — what you copy is the real blank character, not the label.
Hangul FillerU+3164 · Wide
U+3164
Best for blank usernames, game names, WhatsApp names and blank messages. Try this one first.
Braille BlankU+2800 · Wide
U+2800
Best for empty lines in bios and captions. The fallback when Hangul Filler gets stripped.
Zero-Width SpaceU+200B · Zero-width
U+200B
Best for invisible line-break points and hidden separators in long words or links.
Zero-Width Non-JoinerU+200C · Zero-width
U+200C
Stops letters from joining in Persian, Arabic and Indic scripts.
Zero-Width JoinerU+200D · Zero-width
U+200D
Joins characters that would otherwise stay separate, including emoji sequences.
Word JoinerU+2060 · Zero-width
U+2060
Keeps words together by preventing a line break, with no visible gap.
Step 2 — Build a blank string
The box below looks empty on purpose — the invisible characters are really there. Check the tile strip to confirm the count before copying.
Step 3 — Hide characters inside your text (optional)
The result looks the same as your text — the invisible characters sit between the letters. The tile strip below reveals exactly where they are.
Step 4 — Reveal hidden characters in any text
Tip: run this check before pasting text into code. A zero-width character inside a string can break comparisons and JSON parsing while the diff looks unchanged.
How to use the invisible text generator
Pick a blank character. Hangul Filler is selected by default and suits most names and messages. Choose Braille Blank for empty lines in a bio.
Set how many. One blank is enough for an empty message. Some games need two or three to meet a minimum name length.
Copy and paste it where you need it. If the app trims one character, try another — Hangul Filler first, Braille Blank second. If a copy button cannot reach your clipboard, use the tile strip to confirm the count, then copy again.
All 6 invisible characters explained
Hangul Filler U+3164
A wide blank that counts as a real letter in most fields. The one that passes in the most username and game-name fields, and the one to try first for blank messages.
Braille Blank U+2800
A full-width blank block. Best for keeping empty lines in bios and captions, and the fallback when a platform strips Hangul Filler.
Zero-Width Space U+200B
Zero width. Marks a spot where a line may break without showing a space. Good for hidden separators in long words or links, but many apps strip it on submit.
Zero-Width Non-Joiner U+200C
Zero width. Prevents two letters from joining when they normally would — used in Persian, Arabic and Indic scripts.
Zero-Width Joiner U+200D
Zero width. Makes characters join, which is how emoji sequences such as family emoji are built.
Word Joiner U+2060
Zero width. Prevents a line break at its position, unlike a normal space, and shows no gap.
Invisible text generator — FAQ
What is an invisible character?
An invisible (or blank) character is a Unicode character that takes up a position in text but shows nothing, such as the Hangul Filler (U+3164) or the zero-width space (U+200B). It is real text: it counts toward the length and it copies along with the text.
How do I copy and paste invisible text?
Press Copy on any character card above, or build a blank string and copy that, then paste it where you need it. The output box looks empty on purpose; the tile strip confirms the characters are really there.
Is an invisible character the same as a space?
No. A normal space (U+0020) gets trimmed by most apps and collapsed by CSS, while Hangul Filler, Braille Blank and the no-break space survive both. That is why pasting ordinary spaces never makes a blank username.
Which invisible character works on the most platforms?
For names and usernames, Hangul Filler (U+3164) wins — it passes in most game and social name fields. For bios and empty lines, Braille Blank (U+2800) is the best fallback. Zero-width space is the most often stripped, so use it only for line breaks and separators.
Why is my invisible text not working?
Three causes account for most failures: the field strips non-ASCII input, the font lacks a glyph and draws a box, or the platform enforces a minimum visible-character count. Try another character — Hangul Filler first, Braille Blank second — or use two or three characters instead of one.
How do I send a blank message on WhatsApp?
Copy a blank string made of one Hangul Filler character and paste it as the message. If WhatsApp trims it, try Braille Blank, or two or three characters instead of one.
What is the difference between U+3164 and U+200B?
U+3164 occupies visible width and satisfies fields that require a non-empty value, while U+200B occupies zero width and only splits text without producing a gap. Use U+3164 for names and U+200B for word boundaries.
Can invisible characters be detected?
Yes. Paste any text into the reveal box above and every hidden character shows up as a labelled tile with its codepoint and count. Strip them before pasting text into code, where they can break string comparisons silently.
