Frequently asked questions
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser with JavaScript — your text never leaves your device, so it’s safe for private drafts and code.
What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalized Case?
Title Case follows headline rules: small words like “a”, “the”, “and” and “of” stay lowercase (unless first or last). Capitalized Case capitalizes the first letter of every word without exceptions.
Can I use this for programming variable names?
Yes — that’s why camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE are included. Paste a phrase like “user profile image” and copy it straight into your code.
What are dot.case, Train-Case, flatcase and path/case used for?
They are developer formats built from the same words: dot.case joins words with dots for namespaces and config keys, path/case joins them with slashes for file paths and route segments, Train-Case capitalizes each word and joins with hyphens for HTTP headers, and flatcase removes the separators entirely for hashtags and compact identifiers.
Does it work with languages other than English?
UPPERCASE, lowercase and iNVERSE follow your browser’s Unicode case rules, so they work for most languages. The word-based styles (Title, camelCase…) work best with space-separated text.
Is there a text length limit?
You can convert up to 20,000 characters at once — enough for full articles, essays and long documents.
